Tailored for the rural Chinese market, this equipment aligns with local sewage conditions and discharge standards. This has led to the development of various models, including Zhong Qiao Tank Horizontal Tank A/B, Vertical Tank A/B, and the unique Hollow Tank, embodying superior design and functionality.
II. Raw Materials
The chosen raw material is high-modulus polypropylene, celebrated for its excellence in buried drainage and sewage treatment applications. With an impressive elastic modulus of ≥1500 MPa, this material significantly surpasses HDPE, which has only 800 MPa. The elastic modulus is paramount in determining the ring stiffness of the product, where a higher modulus ensures greater stiffness and durability.
Polypropylene stands out as a non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless polymer. Its high crystallinity and low density (0.90-0.91 g/cm³) make it one of the lightest plastics available. Its stability in water is remarkable, with an absorption rate of just 0.01%. The material's molecular weight ranges from 80,000 to 150,000, offering excellent molding capabilities, along with a sleek, glossy finish.
Boasting exceptional chemical stability, polypropylene resists a wide array of chemical reagents. While concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids may erode it, it withstands exposure to many other substances. The material's chemical stability is enhanced with increased crystallinity, making it a prime candidate for manufacturing a wide range of chemical equipment and components that require robust corrosion resistance.
Polypropylene, noted for being non-toxic and odorless, also boasts superior strength and stiffness. Compared to low-density polyethylene, it offers enhanced hardness and heat resistance, performing well around 100°C. Additionally, it provides excellent dielectric properties and maintains high-frequency insulation, unaffected by humidity.
Its resilience to common acids, bases, and organic solvents makes polypropylene an ideal choice for food utensils, offering both safety and durability.
PPH is a high molecular weight, low melt flow rate homopolypropylene. Through β-modification, it achieves a refined crystalline structure, delivering outstanding chemical resistance, high-temperature endurance, excellent creep resistance, and remarkable impact resistance even at low temperatures.

1. Safety
The tank is manufactured using a spiral extrusion winding-one-time forming technology. The tank is formed directly from granular raw materials through molds, achieving a seamless, one-piece structure.

The tank can have a thickness of over 80 mm, with a tapered cross-section. The thickness can be increased in areas with greater stress at the lower part of the tank, optimizing the use of materials where needed.

It exhibits excellent resistance to various acids and bases and can store most organic and inorganic acids, bases, salts, and some organic solvents (see the corrosion data sheet for details).

Depending on the tank's design and specifications, the number of winding layers and thickness can be customized.
