With an exceptionally low density of only 0.90-0.91 g/cm³, it is one of the lightest plastics available. Its extraordinary stability in water, with an absorption rate of a mere 0.01%, coupled with a molecular weight ranging between 80,000 to 150,000, ensures superior molding capabilities and a lustrous, appealing finish.
Polypropylene's exceptional chemical stability renders it resilient against a broad spectrum of chemical agents. Although it withstands many, it is vulnerable to erosion by concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids.
