Inclined Tube Sedimentation Tank
Product Overview
The inclined tube (or plate) sedimentation tank represents a pinnacle of innovation in wastewater management, merging cutting-edge design with proven efficiency based on the shallow tank sedimentation theory. It's alternatively referred to as a shallow tank sedimentation tank.
This tank is ingeniously equipped with a multitude of tightly packed inclined tubes or plates within the sedimentation zone. As water flows upward through these, suspended impurities gracefully settle onto the tubes or plates. Driven by gravity, the separated sludge effortlessly glides down to the tank's base, where it is efficiently collected and discharged.
This advanced structural design enhances sedimentation efficiency by a remarkable 50-60% and dramatically boosts treatment capacity by 2-4 times within the same spatial footprint. Tailor-made solutions can be developed for different treatment capacities of inclined tube sedimentation tanks, crafted based on specific experimental wastewater data. Typically, coagulants are added to optimize performance.
The innovative inclined tube sedimentation process includes installing components at a precise 60-degree angle above the sludge suspension layer. After the addition of coagulants, the resulting suspended solids or flocs form a delicate sludge layer on the underside of the inclined tubes, optimizing sedimentation.
Gravity guides the sludge back to the sludge suspension layer, where it settles elegantly in the sludge collection hopper. It is then discharged via a specialized sludge pipe for further processing or beneficial reuse. Meanwhile, the clarified liquid ascends serenely to the clear water zone, ready for direct discharge or reuse.
