Our choice of high-modulus polypropylene as the foundation of our underground drainage and wastewater solutions exemplifies our unwavering dedication to quality. With an impressive elastic modulus of ≥1500 MPa, it far surpasses the 800 MPa of HDPE, providing superior ring stiffness and structural robustness essential for high-performance applications.
Polypropylene is renowned for its non-toxic and odor-free features, with a highly crystalline structure and an ultra-light density of 0.90-0.91 g/cm³, ensuring outstanding water stability with a minimal absorption rate of 0.01%. With molecular weights between 80,000 to 150,000, polypropylene offers excellent molding capabilities and a sleek, attractive finish, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.
Exhibiting exceptional chemical stability, polypropylene resists a wide array of chemical agents, although care must be taken with concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids. It may react with certain hydrocarbons, yet its enhanced crystallinity provides increased chemical resilience, making it the perfect material for creating durable, corrosion-resistant components in various applications.
With its non-toxic and odorless properties, polypropylene surpasses low-density polyethylene by providing greater strength, stiffness, and heat resistance, performing optimally at temperatures near 100°C. The tank can have a thickness of over 80 mm, with a tapered cross-section. The thickness can be increased in areas with greater stress at the lower part of the tank, optimizing the use of materials where needed.

It exhibits excellent resistance to various acids and bases and can store most organic and inorganic acids, bases, salts, and some organic solvents (see the corrosion data sheet for details).
