Inclined Tube Sedimentation Tank
Product Overview
The inclined tube (or plate) sedimentation tank is a high-efficiency, combined sedimentation tank designed based on the theory of shallow tank sedimentation, also known as a shallow tank sedimentation tank.
The tank is equipped with numerous densely packed inclined tubes or plates in the sedimentation zone. Suspended impurities in the water settle in these inclined tubes or plates. Water flows upward along the inclined tubes or plates, and the separated sludge slides down to the bottom of the tank under gravity, where it is collected and discharged.
This structure can improve sedimentation efficiency by 50-60% and increase the treatment capacity by 2-4 times for the same area. Different Treatment Capacitys of inclined tube sedimentation tanks can be designed based on the experimental data of the original wastewater, and coagulants are generally added during use.
The inclined tube sedimentation process involves installing inclined tube components at a 60-degree angle above the sludge suspension layer. Suspended solids or flocs formed after the addition of coagulants accumulate as a thin sludge layer on the bottom side of the inclined tubes.
The sludge slides back to the sludge suspension layer under gravity, then settles in the sludge collection hopper and is discharged through a sludge pipe for further treatment or utilization. The clarified liquid gradually rises to the clear water zone and can be either directly discharged or reused.
