Polypropylene's remarkable chemical stability enables it to withstand a wide range of chemicals; caution is advised only with concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids. As a material free from toxins and odors, polypropylene surpasses low-density polyethylene with superior strength, stiffness, and heat resistance, performing remarkably near 100°C.
